Christ Chapel Youth Camp

The Knight's Youth Ministry (previously Vine Youth) was disappointed to find out that Circle C Ranch was cancelled and planned on attending Kingdom Bound. Then were further disappointed to found out that Kingdom Bound was cancelled as well. Using the funds raised by the youth during the winter that were going to go towards these events the youth planned a trip to Allegheny State Parker. They spent three days and two nights there enjoying each other's company, learning about God and His creation, and worshiping in song and activities. They were even joined by a BEAR!

Knight’s Youth Water Wars

Christ Chapel's Knight Youth Ministries capped off the summer and kicked off the fall with some Water Wars! Originally the youth were supposed to have a laser tag battle at a local business but plans fell through leaving yet another disappointment in a summer full of disappointments. God gives and God takes away. When one door closes, God opens another. Water balloons, water blasters, a soapy tarp, and a couple of kiddie pools made for a fun filled evening along with some pizza and wings. We talked about how life is full of disappointments but even so God is still with us and provides.

Six Flags of Knight’s Youth

Christ Chapel’s Knights Youth Ministries capped of the summer of 2021 with a trip to Darien Lake Six Flags Theme Park! Our teens had tons of fun and enjoyed thrill rides, water rides, rollercoasters, and had a delicious cook out! Kingdom Bound was cancelled again this year so we made do with going to the theme park! Thank you all for supporting our youth ministry.

Walking with Frodo

Knights Youth Ministries took Christ Chapel teens to the Eternal Flame in Orchard Park to walk with Frodo to the flame of mount doom. The teens enjoyed a picnic, fashioned paper rings with our current struggles, walked to the flame, had a devotional, and burned our rings. We then all greatly enjoyed some ice cream on the way home.

It was a great kick off to the fall. Knights Youth will be studying a series on Lord of the Rings called “Walking with Frodo” on Sundays at 10:45 AM.
